To my Latino & Asian American fam—these are for you.
I accepted @unitethecountry & @bidenbydesign invitation to create a piece of art expressing my support for @joebiden in this year’s presidential election. And I was so enthusiastic about it, I made two! Let me tell you why I’m voting for Joe:
While we might not agree on every point, I do believe Joe Biden & Kamala Harris will restore dignity, stability, and order to the Oval Office. I’m extremely hopeful that they can unite the country after these last four years of division and chaos.
I’m voting for Joe Biden because I believe he can actually meet us in this moment. He has the experience, wisdom, maturity, and empathy to rise to the occasion. I believe he’ll fight for and protect important civil rights, affordable healthcare, and the work & legacy of leaders like RBG. He has also shown to respect, value, and abide by the expertise of scientists and doctors during this global pandemic. As someone who lost my beloved Grandmother to COVID-19 in 2020, this is essential and non-negotiable. I honestly believe he and Kamala Harris care deeply about the future of America.
What the campaign needs right now is a visible show of support. RISE UP against racism, misogyny, and ever-increasing fascism. Commit to SHOW UP at the polls or vote by mail. Most of all, we need to UNITE behind Joe Biden & Kamala Harris.
