DAVID JON WALKER is a Black graphic designer, educator and community advocate residing in Nashville, Tennessee. Through his lettering and design works, he strives to express truths with context to broad audiences. He is a past president of the AIGA Nashville Chapter and current Design for Democracy Committee Member. As design educator at Austin Peay State University, he shares the importance of design social and civic involvement to his students through projects and partnerships.
